PAYMENT FOR MEETING ATTENDANCE. 19.01 Where the Employer requires an employee to be present at a meeting scheduled by the Employer, time spent at such meeting shall be considered time worked and compensated at the applicable rate of pay. Employees will be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at their applicable rate of pay for attending such a meeting unless the meeting is scheduled within three hours of the commencement of a shift, in which case the employee shall be paid to the start of their shift, or the meeting is scheduled to start within three hours of the end of the shift in which case the employee shall be paid to the end of the meeting. Meetings called by the Employer for corrective or disciplinary purposes and meetings required by Family Services shall not be eligible for payment.
