Common use of Patrol Section Clause in Contracts

Patrol Section. (i) Each Patrol Team shall have two Leave Lists. (ii) One Leave List shall be signed by the Sergeant, Corporal and Constable most eligible for promotion assigned to the section. In the absence of a Constable most eligible for promotion, the senior Constable within the Team shall sign on this list. (iii) The second Leave List shall be signed by the remaining Constables within the Team. (iv) All Members in the Patrol Section may sign Floater Time, to a maximum of 48 hours, on the Leave List. Should the Member later cancel or alter the dates of this Floater Time, it shall be treated as regular Floater Time. Signed up Floater time on the leave list shall be deemed to be the first block of leave to be used in each new year.
