Common use of Part-time Employee - Change in Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Part-time Employee - Change in Hours of Work. If the hours for the part-time position for which the employee was hired are increased to full time hours (excluding those additional hours outlined in clause 17.01 (d)) for a period of six (6) months or longer, then this position shall be posted in accordance with Article 15. If the part-time employee in the position is unsuccessful in obtaining the full-time position, he/she may be laid off in accordance with Article 16.
