Paper and Printing Requirements. In accordance with Minn. Stat. § 16C.073, when practicable under the scope of the Contract, the Contractor shall: • use uncoated office paper and printing paper; • use recycled content paper with at least 30 percent post-consumer material by weight; • use paper which has not been dyed with colors, excluding pastel colors; • use recycled content paper that is manufactured using little or no chlorine bleach or chlorine derivatives; • use reusable binding materials or staples and bind documents by methods that do not use glue; • use soy-based inks; and • produce reports, publications, and periodicals that are readily recyclable. This requirement does not apply to coated paper that is made with at least 50 percent post-consumer materials. The Contractor must print documents on both sides of paper where commonly accepted publishing practices allow. Uniforms. Contractors and their subcontractors shall be properly uniformed prior to entering any facility. The Contractor’s or their subcontractor’s company name must be identifiable on the uniform.
