Common use of OWNER’S ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

OWNER’S ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONTRACT. B.1.1 The Owner’s Authorized Representative will provide administration of the Contract as described in the Contract Documents (1) during construction (2) until final payment is due and (3) during the one-year period for correction of Work. The Owner’s Authorized Representative will act on behalf of the Owner to the extent provided in the Contract Documents, unless modified in writing in accordance with other provisions of the Contract. In performing these tasks, the Owner’s Authorized Representative may rely on the Architect/Engineer or other consultants to perform some or all of these tasks.
