Common use of Overtime Authorized Clause in Contracts

Overtime Authorized. All overtime shall be at the authority of the Department Head or Supervisor who has been delegated the responsibility to authorize overtime. All time worked beyond the normal full-time work day, the normal full-time work week, or on a holiday, shall be considered overtime. Overtime will be paid only where it is expressly authorized in advance.
