  • PAY ON DAY OF INJURY 14.01 An Employee injured in an industrial accident (during working hours) shall be paid for the time lost on the day he/she was injured at his/her applicable hourly rate at the time of the accident.

  • Layoffs May Occur Once strategies other than layoff have been explored, the institutions may proceed, if need be, to layoffs. For those affected by layoff, the provisions of the local collective agreement will apply and the system-wide Electronic Registry of Laid off Employees will be available.

  • Lay-Off An employee who has one (1) year or more of continuous employment and who is laid off is entitled to be paid severance pay at the time of lay-off.

  • LAY-OFFS The Parties recognize the substantial effort and cost involved in recruiting workers from out of Province to the Project but it is also accepted that workers within the local unions from Alberta expect consideration in terms of job retention on Alberta projects. Therefore a lay-off protocol designed to balance these two interests will be developed as per Appendix 2.

  • Use and Reversion of Assets The use and disposition of real property and equipment under this Agreement shall be in compliance with the requirements of 24 CFR Part 84 and 24 CFR 570.502, 570.503, and 570.504, as applicable, which include but are not limited to the following:

  • REVERSION OF ASSETS (a) Upon expiration of the term of this Agreement, or upon any prior termination, Subrecipient shall transfer to City any funds provided hereunder which are on hand at the time of expiration or termination.

  • Complete Work without Extra Cost Except to the extent otherwise specifically stated in this contract, the Contractor shall obtain and provide, without additional cost to the City, all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform the Work.

  • Liquidation of Assets We have the right to liquidate assets in your Xxxx XXX if necessary to make distributions or to pay fees, expenses, taxes, penalties, or surrender charges properly chargeable against your Xxxx XXX. If you fail to direct us as to which assets to liquidate, we will decide, in our complete and sole discretion, and you agree to not hold us liable for any adverse consequences that result from our decision.

  • Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.

  • LAY-OFFS AND RECALL As per Article 15.07 of the Full-time Agreement.
