Common use of Outside the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Outside the Bargaining Unit. When an employer temporarily assigns an employee to carry out the assigned responsibilities of a higher paying classification outside of the bargaining unit for a period in excess of one-half of one shift, the employee shall receive an allowance of three dollars for each shift from the time of the assignment.

When an employer temporarily assigns an employee to carry out the assigned responsibilities of a higher paying classification outside of the bargaining unit for a period in excess of one-half of one (1) shift, the employee shall receive an allowance of three dollars ($3.00) for each shift from the time of the assignment.
