Common use of Organizational Changes Clause in Contracts

Organizational Changes. (i) The Employer shall give the Union a minimum of two (2) months notice in the event the Employer has determined a reduction in bargaining unit employees and/or closure of programs, services or supports; layoffs; restructuring; or any other initiative that would impact the job security of bargaining unit members. (ii) The Employer shall meet with the Union within fifteen (15) working days of the notice at which time the Employer shall advise the Union of its plans. (iii) The Employer and the Union will continue to meet on an ongoing regular basis to minimize impact on service.
