Optional Local Plant Closing Termination Agreement. Because the circumstances in a plant closing will vary in terms of employment, location and timing, as well as other local considerations, the Local Union and local management may negotiate a Special Local Agreement covering the plant closing termination procedure for employees represented by the Local. Any such agreement shall be in writing and approved in accordance with Article XXI, Section 2, of this National Agreement.
