Opportunity of Comptroller to Compromise or Adjust Claim. The Comptroller shall have forty-five (45) Days from his or her receipt of all materials referred to in Paragraph (E)(3) above to investigate the disputed claim. The period for investigation and compromise may be further extended by agreement between the Contractor and the Comptroller, to a maximum of ninety (90) Days from the Comptroller’s receipt of all the materials. The Contractor may not present its petition to the CDRB until the period for investigation and compromise delineated in this Paragraph has expired. In compromising or adjusting any claim hereunder, the Comptroller may not revise or disregard the terms of the Agreement.
