Operator Service. 5.1.1. Definition: Operator Service provides, where available: (1) operator handling for call completion (for example, collect, third number billing, and manual credit card calls), (2) operator or automated assistance for billing after the customer has dialed the called number; and (3) special services including Busy Line Verification and Emergency Line Interrupt (▇▇▇), Emergency Agency Call, Operator-assisted Directory Assistance, and Rate Quotes.
