Ongoing Criminal Background Checks. ‌ Bargaining Unit employees must notify the District if they are charged, convicted, plead guilty to or are otherwise found guilty of any misdemeanor or felony, regardless of the imposition of sentence, with the exception of minor traffic offenses as defined in §479.350, RSMo (2016). Notification must be provided as soon as possible but no later than five (5) business days following the event. All information received by the District pursuant to a criminal background check is confidential and may be disclosed and utilized only for those purposes authorized by law.
