On-Call Systems. There are two types of On-Call, titled “Restricted” and “Unrestricted”.
On-Call Systems. It is understood by both parties that the call coverage plan may need to be modified based on patient service needs and/or cost efficiency. Prior to any such change in on-call systems, management will notify the Union. The Union may request to meet and discuss the change. The parties agree that it is appropriate to establish a reasonable range of hours of call expected for each staff member by unit. The range will be established in the unit guidelines (Appendix D: Guidelines for Scheduled Call Sign-Up).
