On-Call Duties. If the employee is required to be on an after-hours’ roster, there should be a clear statement to that effect. This section should also state the size or frequency of the roster e.g. 1:4 or 1:8 and the usual level of resident medical officer support that clearly indicates whether the call is 1st or 2nd call.
On-Call Duties. Service Center
10.8.1 The On-Call rotation period is a week at a time beginning on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., five (5) days a week and all day on weekends ending the following Friday at 6:00 a.m.
10.8.2 Employees will be allowed to take their service vehicle home during the week that they are on call. Service vehicles shall not be used for any reasons (after hours) other than for on-call duties.
10.8.3 On-Call rotation employees shall receive four (4) hours compensatory time for every rotation period.
On-Call Duties. On Call duties will be posted and awarded every three (3) months as per Article 7 of the Collective Agreement (Job Posting and Job Awards). The premium paid will be fifty dollars ($50.00) per day on week days and seventy-five dollars ($75.00) on week ends. Overtime rates will apply for all hours worked beyond regular full-time hours. Three (3) positions will be filled according to the provision described above. If positions become vacant and cannot be filled by posting, the Employer may require employees to fill the positions. This provision, if necessary, will be applied to qualified employees in reverse order of seniority. No employee is required to be on call for two (2) consecutive months. As such, employees will be required to be on call in reverse order of seniority starting from the junior up to the most senior employee. The Employer will develop additional procedures governing the administration of on call duties in consultation with the Liaison Committee. Should the Employer be unable to fill the on-call positions with regular employees, qualified temporary and casual employees will be assigned on-call responsibilities.
On-Call Duties. There will be a Juvenile Probation Officer on call at all times. Juvenile Officers will rotate this duty equally and be given seven (7) comp hours for each week they are on call. They will be expected to follow the Stephenson County Juvenile Detention and Notification Procedure Manual that was approved on 6/20/16 and revised on 1/13/17.
On-Call Duties. A Service and Support Administrator who is required to be on call on one of the holidays as set forth in Section 23.1 above, shall receive a payment of fifty dollars ($50.00) for each holiday assigned. SSAs must submit a request for payment within five (5) days of the holiday in order to receive payment. Payments under this section that are not requested within five (5) days of the holiday in which the SSA was on call are forfeited.

On-Call Duties. 15.01 When an employee is providing on-call coverage, they shall be responsible to carry the cellular phone to respond to after-hours/emergency situations on behalf of the Corporation as per established policies and procedures. This will include calling out staff per established policies and procedures.
15.02 The employee will receive three hundred dollars ($300) per calendar week of on-call coverage provided. The employee will still be eligible to respond to and be compensated for call-outs as per the collective agreement.
15.03 A Corporation-owned vehicle will be available to the employee on-call for the purpose of responding to calls and conducting necessary patrols.
15.04 For the period of approximately December 1 to March 31, annually, only Public Works employees, including the Public Works ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, shall carry the on-call phone. A schedule shall be developed giving the employees an approximate equal number of weeks.
15.05 From the period of approximately April 1 to November 30, annually, other members of the Corporation, including management, may participate with Public Works employees in on-call duties. The schedule shall be developed giving all on-call personnel an approximate equal number of weeks during this period.
15.06 Weekly shifts may be exchanged between employees provided the Corporation receives written notice prior to the earliest affected shift.

For a standard week, on call compensation shall be three and one half (3.5) hours of compensatory time. If a major holiday, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day falls during the scheduled week of on call the employee on call shall earn an additional 2 hours of compensatory time. On call compensatory time shall be earned whether or not the officer's service/assistance is requested by law enforcement.
