Observation Procedures. 5.2.1 At least two (2) observations for career teachers or four (4) observations for probationary teachers (See Appendix D-1) shall be required in the formal evaluation of all employees. Such observation shall involve a minimum of twenty (20) minutes to do a thorough, fair, and equitable evaluation. 5.2.2 A minimum 24-hour advance notice shall be given for the first formal observation. The second observation will be determined by the building principal. In case of an emergency or other problem that might arise, such notice could be waived by agreement. 5.2.3 An observation conference will be held within five (5) school days with the building principal and teacher.
