Common use of NOTIFICATION OF OUTSOURCING Clause in Contracts

NOTIFICATION OF OUTSOURCING. The Employer will notify the Council 169 Local when it has decided to outsource. The Employer recognizes its duty to satisfy its bargaining obligations should conditions of employment for bargaining unit employees be affected by its decision to outsource. Upon request, the Employer will discuss the outsourcing decision with the Council 169 Local and provide information, if available, and release of the information is not restricted by law, rule or regulation. When it is known that more than one field activity will be involved in the work to be outsourced, the Employer will notify the Council 169 Executive Board.
