Normal Day. (a) A normal day is defined as a maximum period of nine (9) hours, exclusive of an optional thirty (30) to forty-five (45) minute lunch/dinner break, during which a maximum of ten (10) lessons may be scheduled. On each day when ten (10) lessons are taught, a three dollar ($3.00) premium will be paid for the tenth (10th) lesson. The Company agrees that ten (10) lessons per day shall only be scheduled a maximum of three (3) times per week per employee, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the Employer and the employee.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week. A single shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of continuous employment, except for unpaid lunch period, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
