Normal Day. (a) A normal day is defined as a maximum period of nine (9) hours, exclusive of an optional thirty (30) to forty-five (45) minute lunch/dinner break, during which a maximum of ten (10) lessons may be scheduled. On each day when ten (10) lessons are taught, a three dollar ($3.00) premium will be paid for the tenth (10th) lesson. The Company agrees that ten (10) lessons per day shall only be scheduled a maximum of three (3) times per week per employee, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the Employer and the employee.
Normal Day. A normal working day is as determined in the Wollongong City Council Enterprise Agreement.
Normal Day to-Day Operation (Non-Active Status) Review the OAMA plan and familiarize yourself with the procedures and the OAMA Coordinator position and duties. Become familiar with emergency management and response personnel within your area. Be aware of the anticipated needs and skills of people within your area. Assist in the development and participate in an annual exercise of the OAMA plan.
Normal Day. The length of the normal workday shall be 7.5 hours inclusive of the .5 10 hour duty-free lunch period. The time before and after student contact time shall be 11 flexible, but shall take into account the needs of students. Individual employees 12 shall decide how to use the 45 minutes outside the student day with the expectation 13 that employees will be in their work location 15 minutes before the start of the 14 student day. Employees shall inform their building principal of their time use. 15 Exceptions will be made for faculty meeting days and supervisory duties. At those 16 work sites where employees share supervisory duties, the individual use of time 17 before and after the student day will be adjusted as needed to meet supervision 18 assignments. Staff meetings and supervisory assignments will be scheduled 19 consistently as determined by the building LIT. 20

An alternative schedule to the 36 workday needs to be mutually agreed upon by the building administrator and the 37 educator. The time before and after student contact time shall be flexible, but shall 38 take into account the needs of students. Individual employees shall decide how to 39 use the 45 minutes outside the student day with the expectation that employees will 40 be in their work location 15 minutes before the start of the student day. Employees 41 shall inform their building principal of their time use. Exceptions will be made for 42 faculty meeting days.
