Common use of Non-Emergency Transportation Clause in Contracts

Non-Emergency Transportation. CONTRACTOR shall transport Participant, either in 31 CONTRACTOR’s own, or COUNTY loaned, vehicle to locations that are considered necessary and/or 32 important to the Participant's recovery plan including, but not limited to, Social Security Administration 33 offices for SSI benefits and for non-emergency medical or mental health services not identified in 34 Subparagraph 1.,. above that require treatment at a physician office, urgent care, or emergency room when 35 an ambulance provider is not necessary or required for transportation based on the level of severity and/or 36 services required by the Participant.
