No Moonlighting Clause Samples

The No Moonlighting clause prohibits an employee from engaging in additional employment or side businesses outside of their primary job with the employer. Typically, this clause applies to any paid or unpaid work that could interfere with the employee’s duties, create a conflict of interest, or use the employer’s resources. Its main purpose is to ensure the employee’s full commitment to their primary role and to prevent conflicts that could arise from divided loyalties or misuse of confidential information.
