Night rate Clause Samples

The "Night rate" clause defines the specific pricing or compensation applicable for services or work performed during nighttime hours. Typically, this clause outlines the exact time frame considered as night—such as between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM—and stipulates a higher hourly rate or additional premium for work conducted during these hours. Its core practical function is to compensate workers for the inconvenience or increased difficulty of working at night, and to ensure clarity and fairness in payment arrangements for after-hours labor.
