Common use of Newborns and Adopted Newborns Clause in Contracts

Newborns and Adopted Newborns. The Effective Date of any coverage provided by AvMed for a newborn child will be the moment of birth. For adopted newborns, coverage will be effective from the moment of birth provided a written agreement to adopt such child was entered into by the Subscriber prior to the birth of the child; however, coverage shall not be effective if the child is not ultimately placed in the Subscriber's residence, in compliance with Chapter 63, Florida Statutes.
