Provided further that New Members as defined by PEPRA hired on or after January 1, 2013 shall be eligible to receive retirement allowance based on three (3) highest consecutive years of compensation under the plan as provided under the California Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013, or as subsequently amended.
