Common use of Name Requests Clause in Contracts

Name Requests. (a) There shall be no restrictions/limitations on the Employer's right to hire via name request, and the Employer shall retain the right to refuse employment to an individual if the Employer does not believe that such individual is suitable for the available work. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if such right is exercised, the Employer shall provide the Union with a letter or email outlining the reason(s) an individual was not suitable, upon receiving a written request from the Union to do so.
