Common use of Moral or Religious Objections Clause in Contracts

Moral or Religious Objections. The Contractor is not required to provide, reimburse for, or provide coverage of, a counseling or Referral service that would otherwise be required if the Contractor objects to the service on moral or religious grounds. If the Contractor elects not to provide, pay for, or provide coverage of, a counseling or Referral service because of an objection on moral or religious grounds, it must promptly notify the Department and CMS in writing of its intent to exercise the objection. It must furnish information about the services it does not cover as follows:
