Common use of Modified Work Week Clause in Contracts

Modified Work Week. The Employer will consider requests from the Guild for a modified work week. Requests shall be submitted to Human Resources, in writing, at least thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of the schedule change and thirty (30) days’ notice shall be given should either the employee or the Employer elect to discontinue the modified work week. Upon return from child care leave, employees choosing to work a modified week shall receive prorated postnatal leave pay as provided in Article 15.6 of the Collective Agreement.
