Miscellaneous Provisions Regarding Salary Continuation. A. The employee shall notify their supervisor of absence in advance and shall state the expected duration thereof unless the failure to notify is due to circumstances beyond the control of the employee. The supervisor may or may not excuse the absence, depending on the reason given. If the employee's absence should extend beyond the expected duration, the employee must again notify the supervisor.
