Common use of MINIMUM PAY GUARANTEE Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM PAY GUARANTEE. All Full-Time Employees and Full-Time Short Term Employees reporting for work on the Employee’s regular shift shall be paid a minimum of 4 hours pay at basic rate, whether work is commenced or not. Students are entitled to be paid for a minimum of 2 hours at the regular wage. At the mutual agreement of the Employee and the Employer, recreation and aquatic centre Casual and Part-Time Employees may be paid for a minimum of 2 hours at the regular wage.
