Common use of Method of Survey Clause in Contracts

Method of Survey. 8.7.1.1.Navigation channel along the River Barak Survey lines shall run perpendicular to the baseline to be established on the shore. Cross- section sounding lines to be run @ 10 m interval. Continuous soundings are to be taken on the cross-section and plotted @ 2 m apart on the cross-section lines. Cross-section lines shall run for a width of minimum 200 m (approximately 100 m on either side of the centre line of the navigation channel). If the width of the river is less than 200 m, then the lines shall run from bank to bank (between Low water lines). The Scale of survey is 1:500.
