Method of Integration. Until an employee has a balance of 1.2 hours of sick leave, the employee's sick leave accrual charges while receiving SDI benefits shall be calculated each month. The amount of sick leave charged each employee will be calculated in the following manner: The percentage of base monthly salary not covered by the SDI benefit will be applied to the daily hours in the employee's schedule and that number of sick leave hours will be charged against the employee's sick leave accruals.
