Merit Board. A. All Grievances of employees in representation units represented by the Union shall be processed under Section 25 unless the employee elects to apply to the Merit Board on matters within its jurisdiction.
Merit Board. A. All complaints of employees in the representation unit represented by the Association shall be processed under Section 19 unless the employee elects to apply to the Merit Board on matters within its jurisdiction.
Merit Board. A. All grievances of employees in representation units represented by the Association shall be processed under Section 24 – Grievance Procedure unless the employee elects to apply to the Merit Board on matters within its jurisdiction.
Merit Board. All grievances of employees in representation units represented by the Council shall be processed under Section 25 unless the employee elects to apply to the Merit Board on matters within its jurisdiction. No action under Steps 3, 4 and 5 of Subsection 25 above shall be taken if action on the complaint or grievance has been taken by the Merit Board, or if the complaint or grievance is pending before the Merit Board.
Merit Board. All current rules, regulations and procedures of the Sheriff’s Department Merit Commission are considered a part of this Agreement. Any conflicts between this Agreement and the rules and regulations of the Sheriff’s Department Merit Commission shall be resolved in favor of this agreement.
