Medical Testing. Employees may undergo appropriate medical tests as part of a Occupational Health and Safety Policy i.e Hearing, Vision etc. However, should testing for drug and alcohol be requested of an Employee they must agree to submit to random, incident related, or planned drug and alcohol testing at any time as directed by the Company. The Employees agree that an Employee submitting to a drug and alcohol test will take whatever action is necessary to ensure that the medical practitioner or testing facility’s report can be provided to the Company. In that respect, the Employees agree that an Employee submitting to a drug and alcohol test will sign any authority that the medical practitioner or testing facility may require from the Employee, before releasing the information to the Company. At the time of making this Agreement saliva testing is the least invasive form of testing however, if new technologies are developed over the life of the Agreement, they may also be considered under this clause. Other conditions relating to drugs and alcohol can be found in the CCA Drug and Alcohol policy. For clarification around records, please note the "Records" provision at sub-clause 2.2 of this Agreement.
