– MEDICAL & PENSION BENEFITS. 17.1 The existing Medical and Pension Plans shall be continued during the term of this Agreement. The Pension Plans will continue on a 50/50% cost shared basis between the Employer and the Employees unless otherwise agreed by the Parties through the Joint Benefits Committee. The Medical Plan will continue on a 65/35% cost shared basis between the Employer and the Employees unless otherwise agreed by the Parties through the Joint Benefits Committee. The Employer will pay 65% of the cost and the Employees will pay 35%.
