Common use of MEDICAL EMERGENCY LEAVE Clause in Contracts

MEDICAL EMERGENCY LEAVE. As a special provision, each educator is allowed to use up to a total of five (5) days sick leave per year for a serious illness of the educator’s father, mother, son, daughter, spouse or a person for whom the educator is the primary care provider. This special leave should only be requested or used when the person who is ill is in serious need of personal attention by the educator. For clarification, the following examples are given:
