MEAL COMPENSATION Clause Samples

The MEAL COMPENSATION clause defines the terms under which an individual is reimbursed or provided with payment for meals incurred during the course of their work or service. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility criteria, such as travel requirements or work performed beyond regular hours, and may specify per diem rates, maximum allowable amounts, or required documentation for reimbursement. Its core practical function is to ensure that employees or contractors are fairly compensated for meal expenses incurred as a direct result of their work obligations, thereby promoting fairness and clarity in expense management.
