Common use of Makeup Clause in Contracts

Makeup. An employee may elect, with the consent of the Society, to work "make-up time", under which the employee takes time off during ordinary hours and works those hours at a later time, within the spread of ordinary hours provided in the Agreement, at the ordinary rate of pay for the purpose of providing care and support for a person in accordance with subclause 17.3.
