In the event a law suit or action before any state or federal department or agency is brought against the Lafayette School Corporation and when such suit or action claims that the provisions of Title IX and/or Title VII have been violated by alleged unfair discriminatory treatment under the ECA schedule, the Association agrees to share equally all attorney fees, court costs, and/or monetary judgment levied against the Corporation. However, the Association shall not be liable to pay more than $500 for the term of this Contract.

Kindergarten teachers shall be permitted to administer individual beginning of the year student assessments before the start of the school year. TEACHER REASSIGNMENT COMPENSATION Elementary K-4 teachers who are reassigned out of their grade level or subject area into a grade level or subject area they have not taught in the four school years before the assignment, shall be given up to two hundred fifty ($250) upon submission of receipts, to purchase supplemental classroom materials and supplies for performing this ancillary duty The materials and supplies become the property of the LSC. TEACHER COMPENSATION FOR SUMMER SCHOOL. Teachers of summer school shall be issued a Supplemental Service Teachers Contract and shall be paid an hourly rate for each hour of instruction an hourly rate based on their regular teacher's Contract salary. This hourly rate shall be computed using the regular teacher's Contract salary divided by one thousand eighty (1,080). TEACHER COMPENSATION FOR HOMEBOUND INSTRUCTION Teachers of homebound students shall be paid for each hour of instruction at an hourly rate based on their Regular Teacher’s Contract base salary. This hourly rate shall be computed using the regular teacher's Contract salary divided by one thousand eighty (1,080) PROOF OF DEPOSIT. Teachers shall receive their pay by direct deposit. Proof of deposit of each pay for any individual teacher will be in electronic format and can be accessed through the LSC website.

EXTRACURRICULAR SCHEDULE a. The wages and salaries reflected in Schedule C, attached hereto, shall be part of this Agreement. Payment for Schedule C shall be in lump sum at the completion of the activity. Or at the option through written request of the teacher involved, half-payment may be made at the mid-point of the activity and the remainder made at the conclusion of the activity.
EXTRACURRICULAR SCHEDULE. The administration will work with the President of the Cherry Valley-Springfield Teachers’ Association, or his/her designee(s), to develop and maintain, in an equitable manner, the criteria for the assignment of extracurricular activities. The Superintendent will notify the President of the Association of the list of applicants for an extracurricular position when that list is complete. Furthermore, the Superintendent will notify the President of the Association of the Board’s appointment of all extracurricular positions within five (5) days of the decision. An extracurricular appointment memo will be given to all faculty and staff by May 1st. The due date will be the third Friday of the month (May). The positions will be tabulated. For those positions with no applicants, the list will re-circulate to all faculty and staff. The due date for the second circulation will be May 31st. Appointments will be made at the regular Xxxx XXX meeting. For those vacant positions not yet filled, a third posting will be made on September 1st. The deadline for applications will be September 15th.
