Longevity Step. A. The longevity salary increment will be implemented upon completion of 15, 20, and 25 years of service with the District as of the latest anniversary date of hire as a regular employee. Only years worked for the District are to be counted in determining eligibility for longevity.

Longevity Step. 6.01.2.1 The Board shall, when each teacher commences their twentieth (20th) year of service, add seven hundred dollars ($700.00) to the salary of that teacher.
Longevity Step. Effective January 1, 1998, a ‘Longevity Step’ will be added to the salary schedule. A regular monthly classified employee covered by this Agreement shall be eligible for advancement to ‘Longevity Step’ of the salary schedule upon completion of ten (10) years of continuous service with the District as a regular classified monthly employee with three (3) years of continuous service at Step ‘F’ of their current classification. The employee may apply for advancement as early as the first of the month preceding completion of the required service. Advancement will be effective on the first of the month following application and completion of required service.
Longevity Step. 6.01.2.1 The Chardon Board of Education shall, when each teacher commences their twentieth (20th) year of service, add seven hundred dollars ($700.00) to the salary of that teacher. Further, this provision shall cover all teachers currently employed by the Chardon Board of Education with twenty (20) or more years of service.

Longevity Step a. A longevity step at seventeen (17) years shall be added to Salary Table A providing for a one-time additional increment to those teachers having complete sixteen (16) years of service on the salary schedule, and thereafter, and having attained the seventeenth (17th) step, the said teachers shall be subject to any further general wage increases negotiated between the parties.
Longevity Step. After funding all other continuing costs as defined in Appendix A, including a minimum of continuing salary schedule improvements for all unit members equal to the state funded COLA, any remaining funds will be used to implement a one percent (1%) longevity increment for unit members who achieve or have achieved twenty-five (25) years of service or more. If the remaining funds are not sufficient to fully fund the increment, the funds will be set aside and combined with any residual funds as defined above in the year(s) following until such time as sufficient funds are available for implementation. The increment will be effective in the year that the total amount needed is available and will be retroactive to either July 1 or the date the employee achieves the increment. The set aside funds will be distributed as one-time only until implementation occurs.
Longevity Step. Effective September 1st (or the beginning of the school year if earlier) following an employee’s completion of the employee’s ninth year of employment in a bargaining unit position, the employee shall be placed on Step 10 of the salary schedule contained in Appendix A. Following an employee’s completion of their fourteenth year of employment in a bargaining unit position, the employee shall be placed on Step 15 of the salary schedule contained in Appendix A. Step 10 shall be 4% above Step 7 and Step 15 shall be 4% above Step 10.
