LOCK KEYS Clause Samples

The LOCK KEYS clause establishes which parties are authorized to possess or control the keys to a property or premises. In practice, this clause may specify who receives keys at the start of a lease, who is permitted to make copies, and the procedures for returning or changing keys upon termination of the agreement. Its core function is to ensure security and accountability by clearly defining key access rights and responsibilities, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized entry or disputes over possession.
