Locality Allowances. 2.7.1 Locality allowances are payable to eligible employees in accordance with the Ministerial Directive 19/99 (Locality Allowances) issued in accordance with section 54 of the Public Service Act 2008.
2.7.2 The rates prescribed by the Ministerial Directive 19/99 (Locality Allowances) are increased by 5.5% from 1 January 1997 for all centres other than those in coastal local Government areas as at that date and listed in Appendix 1 of this Agreement.
Locality Allowances. (a) Entitlement: A teacher shall be paid:
(i) the full rate of the locality allowance if the teacher satisfies the Management Committee that he or she has a dependent spouse, dependent de facto spouse or dependent child; or
(ii) one-half of the full rate of locality allowance if the teacher does not have a dependent spouse, dependent de facto spouse or dependent child.
Locality Allowances. Employees who are employed in stations west of a line drawn on 146 degree longitude starting with the Queensland/New South Wales border to intersection with 22 degrees latitude then West to intersection with 144 degrees longitude and North to the border, shall be entitled to the locality allowances as prescribed in Schedule 3 of the Award.

Locality Allowances. 30.2.1 Staff who are covered by this Agreement and located outside the Perth Metropolitan area but within the State of Western Australia shall be paid the rate specified in Schedule B Allowances. These rates shall be adjusted as necessary in line district allowance rates applicable to State Government of Western Australia public sector agencies.
30.2.2 When on approved leave, staff shall be paid the locality allowance as per the chart in Schedule B Allowances.
30.2.3 When a staff member leaves his_or,her ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇^duty, payment of district allowance shall continue if the staff member's dependant/s (as defiriedih Clause 3, Definitions) remain in the district.
30.2.4 Staff shall be paid a district allowance if they are required to temporarily reside in any localities for which an allowance is payable for periods in excess of one month, irrespective of any travelling allowance to which they may be entitled.
