Local Notice. The installation head or his/her designee shall notify, and upon request meet with, the appropriate local union official, as far in advance as reason- ably practicable, concerning the local deployment of any new automated or mechanized equipment, whether locally purchased or nationally deployed, that will have a significant impact on mail handler duty assign- ments within the installation.
Local Notice. The prospective ap- plicant must provide local notice of the proposed new antenna structure or modification of an existing antenna structure through publication in a newspaper of general circulation or other appropriate means, such as through the public notification provi- sions of the relevant local zoning proc- ess. The local notice shall contain all of the descriptive information as to ge- ographic location, configuration, height and anticipated lighting speci- fications reflected in the submission required pursuant to paragraph (c)(2) of this section. It must also provide infor- mation as to the procedure for inter- ested persons to file Requests for envi- ronmental processing pursuant to §§ 1.1307(c) and 1.1313(b) of this chapter, including any assigned file number, and state that such Requests may only raise environmental concerns.
