LIMITATIONS ON LENGTH OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT. The City shall notify the BCEA in writing prior to the employment of, or the intention of temporary appointments, and the expected duration of each appointment. No person shall be employed by the City under temporary appointment to one or more positions in the Civil Service System for a total of more than six (6) months in any twelve (12) month period unless approved by the Civil Service Board and the BCEA.
