Common use of Lighting Clause in Contracts

Lighting. No street lighting will be employed by the Developer to minimize light pollution. No additional lighting by a Property Owner may occur outside of the building envelope. Lighting within the building envelope is permitted provided such lighting does not result in excessive glare toward neighbouring properties or public areas. All exterior lighting must be of a low level intensity, with the source of light shielded, directed downward, and is subject always to the approval of the Developer.
