Common use of Lien Waivers Clause in Contracts

Lien Waivers. Each Application for Payment shall be accompanied by written waivers of the right to file a mechanic's lien and all other claims for the Contractor and all Subcontractors and material suppliers at all tiers who have supplied labor or material or both for which payment is requested, subject only to receipt of payment. If the Department so requests, the Contractor shall also submit unconditional waivers of liens for itself and all Subcontractors and material suppliers at all tiers with respect to Work or materials or equipment for which payment has been previously made, and additional forms of waiver acknowledging receipt of final payment under the Contract, and providing final release of such liens.
