Common use of Level 1 Clause in Contracts

Level 1. If an Employee wishes to submit a grievance, he/she shall first discuss the complaint with his/her immediate supervisor. The Grievance Committee representative and one administrator may also be present. This discussion must occur within ten (10) days of the event causing the complaint.

If an Employee wishes to submit a grievance, he/she shall first discuss the complaint with his/her immediate supervisorsupervisor or with the administrator if the immediate supervisor is not the cause of the complaint. The Grievance Committee representative Xxxxxxx and one administrator may also be present. This discussion must occur within ten (10) days of the event causing the complaint. The immediate supervisor or administrator shall reply in writing within ten (10) days of the date of the discussion, submitting one copy to the Employee, one copy to the Xxxxxxx and one copy to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.
