Common use of Letter of Authorization Clause in Contracts

Letter of Authorization. 8.1 Neither Party will release the Customer Service Record (CSR) containing Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) for any end-user customer accounts until the requesting Party has executed the blanket LOA. The Parties shall each adopt their own internal processes for verification of customer authorization for requests, provided that such processes comply with the foregoing blanket LOA provisions, Applicable Law, and FCC and Commission rules and orders. 8.2 CD and CenturyTel shall each execute a blanket letter of authorization with respect to customer requests so that prior proof of end-user authorization will not be necessary with every request.
