Lead Worker. Lead workers, shall not serve as a “Rater” of performance reports of other employees. A Lead worker shall be selected from the permanent employees in the same or similar classification and department and have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the job. An employee designated as a Lead worker, shall receive a one (1) step wage differential and such differential shall not affect merit increases or anniversary dates. If a Lead worker is rated on the basis of supervisory ability, it will only be to the extent actually exercised. Lead workers shall be assigned or removed at the sole discretion of the Trust.
