Lead Hand Rates. Lead Hand rates are as indicated in Table 1. A Lead Hand shall be paid the Lead Hand rate for the employee's classification, or the Lead Hand rate for the highest rated classification supervised, within the bargaining unit, if more than twenty-five per cent (25%) of the personnel in the employee's crew are in this higher-rated classification. AECL and the Union will discuss and come to an agreement on an acceptable arrangement if more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the crew is outside of the bargaining unit.
