Late Resignations. 1. Educators requesting release from their contract after June 1 will reimburse the Board for such release at the following amounts: (a) June 2 - June 30 $1,200 (b) July 1 - July 31 $1,800 (c) August 1 - May 30 $2,500 2. In the event the district must utilize a collection agency or services of an attorney to collect the above late resignation fee, the educator will be responsible for the additional cost to the district. 3. This amount shall be waived by the Board if the request is based on illness or transfer of a spouse. The amount may be waived by the Board approval in other unforeseen emergencies.
Late Resignations. Any certified staff member who submits a late resignation will be subject to the following penalty schedule: June 15th 5% of their current salary and fringe July 1st 8% of their current salary and fringe July 15th 10% of their current salary and fringe August 1st 15% of their current salary and fringe The penalties for late resignations will be waived if it is determined that the cause for the late resignation is due to catastrophic reasons.
Late Resignations. Any teacher who resigns at such a time as to be unable to fulfill his/her teaching obligations after the school year commences, shall pay the District a sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00). This financial obligation shall be not required of a teacher who resigns due to personal or family illness, or at the request of the Board or due to extenuating circumstances. Payroll deduction will be used whenever possible. Any teacher who resigns after August 1st but prior to the commencement of school shall also be obligated to pay the District a sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00).
