LARGE CLASS PAY Sample Clauses

The "Large Class Pay" clause establishes specific payment terms or financial obligations that apply when a legal action involves a large group or class of claimants. Typically, this clause outlines how compensation, settlements, or fees are calculated and distributed in the event of a class action lawsuit with a significant number of participants. For example, it may set thresholds for what constitutes a "large class" and adjust payment structures accordingly to account for the increased administrative burden or risk. The core function of this clause is to ensure fair and predictable handling of payments in large-scale legal proceedings, thereby managing financial exposure and administrative complexity for the parties involved.
